Hi Janos,
The lens I used was a Tamron 16-300mm Teli. It is a very sharp lens. This was taken at a nature park, There must have been 10 people standing around looking for the Owl. It was a very tall Palm tree, set back from the path, amoung other trees. If you look at my responce to Glenda, and the photo attastched, you can see how hidden the Owl was. |

No. This is the actual colors. The Owl was way up in the palm tree and this was taken with my tele lens. As the bark starts to change, the colors change. This was amoung a lot of trees together, and parts the Sun shines on it and other parts are always in the shade. |

Nice shot. I would crop off some of the image on the right side.It would make the mountain and the bush on the left side, stand out a little more. |

All I can say, it's a great shot. Sjharp and in focus. That Canon 100mm macro is a great lens. I have the same lens, and the micro shots are great. |

It's a very nice shot. The tree sets of the picture, as well as the blue sky. God job. |

The original picture shows the amount of bark, with the Owl between the bark and the main part of the Palm Tree. |
