This is lovely. Very peaceful and calming. My only suggestion is to decrease the amount of vignetting. Maybe also try the graduated filter in Adobe Camera Raw on your originals to see if you can get what you wanted. Just an idea.
I do love this scene though. If it was a bit lighter, I think I could stare at it all day long. Where is Morton Overlook? |

I used to be able to do what this guy is doing.....NOT!
I agree with what Angela and Randall have said, and cannot come up with anything thing else to add to the critique.
Well done. |

I want to know what these guys are playing: jazz or blues?
I don't mind the shadow on the sax player's eyes. However, my eyes keep getting drawn to the back of the sax guys neck to the bright white area. Maybe try to tone that area down a bit. |

Ditto to what everyone else said. I'm always intrigued when I see something like this because I have no clue how to do it myself. I find the bubbles on the inside of the glasses to be a bit distracting, but at the same time they make a viewer really look at the top of the glasses to see the fluid surface. The "distracting" bubbles therefore serve a purpose within the photo, so I'll stop talking now.
Nice imaginative shot. |

I agree it's a bit too dark, and want to try to rework it. I'm off on a photo workshop tomorrow. Maybe I'll try to get some processing hints from while there and see what I can do. |

I agree with both Randall and Cheryl. I'm glad most of the seeds have been removed. The first word that popped into my head was fragile, but the more I look at it the more I find myself somehow rooting for the remaining seeds to never let go. I never thought I'd have an emotional response to a dandelion (other than "Damn dandelions!" as I battle them in my yard). This would have been a great candidate for focus stacking. |

Well I think it's fantastic all around. The face appears sharp on my screen, and I like the background as it appears because it adds texture and because it's tobacco leaves which is the whole story here. I find it hard to believe this is natural light and not posed because the lighting is so perfect. Way to be in the right place and the right moment and to be aware of the situation! Well done! |
