Yes, I've just recently discovered that my camera skews things to the cool side of things. It's such a new discovery for me that I keep forgetting to look and adjust for it. Thank you for your sharp eyes and letting me know "I'm blue." |

My instant reaction to this photo: a gigantic grin on my face and the word "FUN!" in my mind. Great colors, great focus, great detail. This would make a fun jigsaw puzzle. I can't come up with any criticism (constructive or otherwise). I look at your comment of "took a lot of sharpenings on a boring afternoon", and ask myself, "but was it so boring?" IF I would have had the same inspiration, I can see myself arranging and re-arranging the shavings and taking photos for hours, maybe even over a couple of days.
Very creative of you to even come up with the idea. Good for you! |
