Beautiful hibiscus. I really like the shadow of the stamen that appears in the foreground. I'd like to see how this might look if you cropped off the highlight on the back edge of the flower. You have done a good job of picking up the detail and delicateness of the petals. Very nice image. |

This is really nice. I like the light, the reflection, the composition. I would have liked to see just a touch more light on the cut fruit. The extra touch of the seeds in front of the lemon add a perfect detail. How do you think of this! |

I think black and white was an excellent choice for this image. In this case, it looks like that choice helped to control the contrast in the scene and it really helped to emphasize the texture in the bird and in the post. |

I really like this image. I like that the subjects are heading into the scene, the panoramic style crop, and the rich colors. Photographing the couple on the bright path provided a nice bounce of light back onto the subjects. This is what I call an "environmental image" and it has an important place in wedding photography. It's part of the story. |

Fabulous image! Your timing was excellent! I like the green the flow of the cubes through the liquid, and not only the 3 ice cubes you provided for balance, but the melted cubes were a terrific touch!

Janet, I love this image. I like the curve of the stem that lead up and around and into the petals. I like that you got the front petals in focus. I agree with everyone that the end of a flower's life is not to be ignored! |

Thanks so much for the feedback. My latest concentration has been on placement of arms, etc. Most recommendations are to create a gap between the body and the arm, but I may have created too much. I'm pretty sure I had her hands on her waist. |
