81 Aug 19 Comment Very nice job Randall. This appears to me to be a Great Blue Heron and I find them to be pretty skittish, so great job getting so close. I like his wing position. I would consider darkening up the sand so it doesn't pull my eye. I have a number of friends who photograph birds and your shutter speed is great. Another suggestion, and maybe you did this, but generally they go for a multiple focus points on a flying bird in an effort to get that eye in sharpest focus. Looking forward to seeing more wildlife! 81 Aug 19 Comment The dragonfly is nice and sharp. It stands out well. I do agree that taking down the lighter color flowers might help the dragonfly stand out a little more. Great job on a sharp image. Aug 18th
