Thanks Randall. Skin tones can be a struggle for me. This is probably one of the first images that I actually used my light meter to measure the lighting and I think that helped a lot. |

Angela, yes, it's a full blown 10x20 foot background. I hadn't used it in a while but I thought it would work well with the colors of his clothing. |

Very nice landscape. The road is a great leading line. I like the variety of the different colors of fall. With regard to cropping I wouldn't do anything drastic. Maybe a tiny bit in from the upper right and a tiny bit off the bottom. I wouldn't want the area where the trees have lost their leaves to hit the perimeter of the image and I wouldn't want to loose any of that orange leafed Aspen on the left. Frankly if it were my image, I'd probably see if I could clone in some more leaves on the bare patch in the upper right and then I'd print it and hang it on my wall! (Going to Colorado and capturing the Aspen's in fall color is on my bucket list!) |

Angela, you are so creative! I really enjoy the vibrant colors of the image. The water drops are so sharp. Excellent. |

What a beautiful venue. Very nice composition and spot on exposure. You have done a great job of capturing the detail. I also like the starburst you captured. |

You did a great job of capturing the joy of the moment. These are the types of images that stay in our scrapbooks. She is going to look at this image in future years and remember what a great time she had with her bike. I think the exposure is good. You could selectively bright the face and the eyes (separately) in LR or PS You can add a fake catchlight if you want! I also agree with Randall that bringing the crop up would be a good idea. Like Angela I use the healing tool or clone tool at a lower opacity to lessen under eye circles regularly. I think you did a great job of keeping the detail in her hair and skin. |

I was immediately struck by the beauty of the lights sparkling off of the bracelet and the excellent blur of the background. Very nice. |

Macro photography is very challenging. You are right to congratulate yourself on this attemtp. I really like your subject matter. In addition to a faster shutter, you may also want to use the smallest aperture possible and if possible add a flash to help stop the motion enough light to help with that small aperture. I look forward to seeing more of your images. |
