Kathy, that is a wonderful image. I love you got all three faces and eyes. It is hard to deal with the sticks, and I think you handled those in a good way. I find the blue sky strong and competing with the birds, and you could lighten the sky a bit. I am not sure what is going on with the top of the bird's heads as they seem soft albeit the rest of the imange is sharp, and the heads are sharp. At f10 all should be sharp. Did you do some post processing of some sort as the bodies are a bit soft too, especially the one on the left appears to have something soft to the right of it's beak? But overall I like this shot. |

Pei-Fan Mu, you certainly have nailed this shot! Sharp and a wonderful scene with great action. As to the pink, I agree, and the blue upper area is a bit saturated too. I wonder how it would look if you chose the background and simply took out some saturation. The birds are wonderful. |

Mike, I agree the tighter crop Dr Isaac suggested makes the pic much more appealing, to an already good shot and story even stronger. I love that they are looking at each other and that really comes out with the suggested tighter crop. |

Jim, your post processing was very well done, really. Colors are nice, and the suggestions I make to consider are to blur the background even more and darken the background to get rid of the bright areas, making the Flamingo look even more pronounced. Another possibility is to take some of the color out of the background to have a creative selective color. |

Dr Isaac, what a great moment you captured. Love the wing span and the colors are outstanding. Although the branches interfere with the birds, they are part of the scene and do not cause a distraction, as you got their eyes beautifully. |

Ralph, very interesting, and I wish he was looking at us. Bright tree on left could be cropped out, and a bit more room on the right would work too, as you would be taking us forward, but it works on the right as is too. More contrast and whites I think is needed. I like bnw, so bravo to you! |

Kurt, I like what you are doing. It is bright and hard to keep looking at it. I like what Angela did. Texture and detail can be important. I see what you are trying to accomplish, so keep at it and find your style. |

Rose, well done. I like the board and the pears, and the arrangement. The colors are great. I can taste them. I am not sure of the total black background as it is kind of floating out there. Maybe something dark but a bit of detail. |

Janet, what a cutie! I love the expression, and the leaves. I like your crop. I suggest you blur out the background trees. |

Angela, not sure the type of Geese, but you just may be right. I said ducks, but Geese seems to be what they are. And yes, the ice color is pretty spot on. Some is clear, some white, some blue, some black as it picks up the black sand. |
