Jim, it is outstanding. The only problem will be if I ever choose to enter it into competition, as cloning is not allowed in nature, but you give me idea to lighten up the darker areas which is allowed. It will not be as good as cloning, but it will look better. Thank you. |

Ah, I agree. In the past I cropped in tight, and lost context, and I have been working on getting more background. Here you are correct, as the background is still there but the distracting elements are eliminated. I go with your suggestion and rendering but I might still add ever so slightly more on the left side. Thank you. |

What a beautiful shot and bird. You did great and what Kathy did was taking your wonderful shot to excellence. The background is so important to elevate the subject. Also, darkening the feathers brought out wonderful details. |

A really beautiful shot, and you rendered it well, but I like what Jim did especially as well ask Kathy. The simplicity of this shot and the diagonals with the colors are beautiful. |

What a cool shot! I think if you darkened the background and the grasses, and brightened the birds you will get the pic as you saw it in your eyes when taken. Love the many birds! |

I love these scenes, and you are blessed to capture it. I agree with the comments, and really like what Dr. Isaac did to the shot including the blue sky color. It is so hard to process a shot like this, as I have had the same difficulties. Good pic to share with the group. |

In order of my reactions: A beautiful shot and composition, perhaps a bit more background at the top as it feels it needs a bit more room, the translucence of the glass is outstanding, and the composition is exquisite and my last initial thought. Maybe clone out the box line so the background is clean, but as I do not take these shots I would like your take on the line in or out. |

Well done of the Milky Way, and well done to add the lights and very creative endeavor. I would only suggest the bottom have more as it feels cramped, and it is a bit distorted. I do really like the lights. |

Well done with the cloning. I like the house drama. I suggest leaving more sky on top and cropping up from the bottom into the grass as I find the street unnecessary for the story of the house and a bit distracting to me. |

Beautiful eyes, and lovely colors. I like the creative framing. You might even bring out more brightness on the left of the cat and eye, without losing the contrast. |

Angela, no problem, and it is actually a gift to me of perspective for me to keep focused. You see I was at home from work for an appointment, and then spent about 90 minutes working on the pic instead of going back to work right away. I messed up my rest of my day and missed a workout class. This morning I woke up and thought to myself that I need to stay on track and that I could have made my changes and submission last night after work and working out. Well, I see this as a give of God telling me to keep my life focused and steady, and to stay on track. Seriously, I am smiling at myself and am grateful for this experience. It is perfect, so no apology needed, as it was Divine and destine! God's humor! |

Angela, thanks. Please check the submission as the processed shot is not shown, but the same original shot for both. Yes, I like the crop, as that is along the lines of my processed shot of this pic. Yes, wonderful and powerful to see the whales. |
