Shirley, what a fun shoot. I bet there was a better section to shoot as you show here, getting some more interesting flowers.
When this close, shooting at a lower angle adds drama and more separation for your subject flower. It seems a bit flat, and maybe more contrast would get it to pop. The yellow is well handled. |

Ingrid, very strange that my prior written comments are not here. I really like the stem edging, as the bright lines are really cool. Colors are great and your framing is compelling. I like the water droplets. A stroke to frame it since it is a black background would help.

David, a successful by far this shot. I really like it. I agree with your assessment, both the fuzzy in front and the beautiful water droplets. You got a bonus with the upper one on the left - cool. |

Marti, you rendered this beautifully. Good choice of where the center of the flower is, in upper right. I love the folds of the petals. A couple of green backgrounds are showing on the left that were not masked out. Not sure of the purple on top but it has a nice appeal. |

Rose, what a beautiful personal gift. Well seen and done. I really like your anchor picture in the middle, as they look to me to be Hebrew letters. lol. I can see your choice of which picture where is well thought out. Your friend for sure appreciated it. |

Janet, you do will with iphone shots, and they are very easy on the eye. Interesting post processing and I find it successful. The green leaf on mid right can be de-focused and that would bring out the flower more. While I like the crop, there is a boarder merge on the left, so you could either clone out the merger, or widen the crop. Sharp and nice rendering. |

Mr. T, I like your duck. Good choice of cropping and flipping. Bubbles a nice touch. You can brighten the eye, and it does have a catch light. You might see if you can get some detail in the body feathers as I bet with texture you can get more detail. Also, the back feather is bright white and there may not be detail there, and that happens, but you can see if you can bring down highlights in that spot. These are fun shots. |

I agree, as I thought he was a smoker too, but it is his thumb. I appreciate your comments about your impression of his thinking. |

Well, if I knew you already printed it, and have it on your wall I would not have said anything about the colors. I knew you had the color awareness as you did say they were taken at different times and different lighting conditions. I also like the progression of left to right in size and the first being attentive, then curious, then dignified. Definitely deserves to be on your wall, and a great tribute, and comfort. |

Angela, you did a lot of work, and I am sure it took much time, and you got a great montage. Love the way you have the left and right bringing you into the pic, to the bottom shot, which has a great expression. Beautifully done for a beautiful dog. The only think I can say for improvement is to see if you can get consistent colors among the dogs. |

Ralph, well processed and I like the composition. While not a personal fan of Infared, you nailed it. Color contrast is really good. I can only say if you moved over maybe about a foot to the left there would be more separation between the house and stump. Nice. |
