81 Jul 22 Comment Cheryl, a wonderful shot. Your camera is great, and you used it wonderfully. Sharp and it exudes emotion in the tension of its feet and legs - tension - as well as what appears an almost sad facial expression. I look for the emotion depicted, and you have it. I like the crop and you might look to take off more from the bottom and some off the top, getting a rectangle as the knot in the branch competes with your bird, and rectangles bring in more drama, sometimes. 81 Jul 22 Comment Angela, you win the prize. Wow. Amazing. How you do this and have the talent is beyond my capacity and your creativity is outstanding. That said, what a lovely image. The colors first strike me and I love the color and you captured the velvety feel. They look real, like I could touch them. The stems are great. maybe a little hot on the right one just below the flower but that is not a problem and looks just fine the way it is, so just an observation worth considering. Now, the bottom is lovely and creative but not my style, and thus it seems a bit artificial and overdone, and appears vertical and not flat or on a slight angle. Maybe a more understated ground. But the flowers are to kill for!!! Again, outstanding! Jul 1st
81 Jul 22 Comment Janet, great color. OMG. The bee too, but maybe I am just not seeing the bee as a bee. Great color but I cannot tell what i am looking at. I tried. Is it facing away? Other than that i love it. Jul 1st
