By the way what is the background? I really like it that it's color. I love the shape of the pedals, the color, boarder choice, and texture of both the flower and background. So well done, and affectively creative. Just had to comment further. |

Thanks. Probably should crop up, but I know not. Good to get your and other's feedback. Thanks. Model photography is new to me, and aside from lighting, positions, gestures, etc the hardest part is what make a compelling photograph and framing as I review the many shots taken. Thanks. |

Angela, your cropping is exquisite. The creative technique you chose and colors has elevated a nicely seen flower into a piece of art. Love it. I like the muted colors and the framing is a great enhancer. The texture is wonderful. Now all that being true, the only suggestion I have is that it feels a little tight at the top before the framing, between the upper part of the flower and the internal boarder. I think it may show better with an additional quarter of an inch. Very well done and perfect creative choices. That is a wall hanger, and should be sold! |

Noël, the branch and flower add great support and balance, so it is beyond a bird on a stick. Great colors, and shows its habitat. Looks like the critical focus however is on the flower and not the bird. Happens. Maybe you have another of the same scene, as that would make an already strong picture even stronger. |

Brent, a lovely way to show what can be seen when getting low. I love this technique. Colors are great. Seeing the hidden. |

Janet,
Great idea for the framing. So sharp, and beautiful colors. |
