That little scout shape at the bottom of the sharp middle part where the soft out of focisvtip kind of goes to the middle if it. |

Hema, I love the colors, and the clarity in the main subject. And the water is perfect in shape and reflection. You really slowed down to see the shot. And the little lip is an extra bonus that rounds out the shot. |

Brent, great tones and gestures, expression. Good choice to go black and white. I like you got her toes too. |

Thanks Brent, and yes, my main subject is the Arch, so my intention is to darken the artwork, but I am glad it works as is also. So hard to find a new angle or view of the Arch, as it really is a neat subject, and town. |

I see that now. I do not read what others wrote until after I look at and write what I see, so that I am not tainted by what others see. |

Thanks Angela,
I will send you the original. Maybe you can post it to the side, and that will draw more comments, and a review of the choices I made. |

Angela, again a creative and unique shot. Never would know it to be a photograph, or what it is without your description. It is really great. Love the colors and shapes, and how they interact. Framing is awesome. It flows from left to right very successfully. Two minor points. 1. small bottom right corner triangle - either eliminate or bring in a little more of it, to make it a deliberate framing choice. 2. Bottom left is slightly bright, but it may just be best that way. I would tone it down very slightly, see how it then renders. A very fun shot that draws one in to really see it. Looks initially like spaghetti forks. Only by studying it do I see the paper and the depth. Love the depth. You handled this beautifully, and for a simple technique as you say, you have it mastered here. |

Bonné, what a fun scene. Funny what they did the door and windows to really draw attention. I think there is more texture you can bring out of the lower rocks, and the bricks too. You might consider cropping up some from the bottom, as I do not find the street to add anything. Maybe try just below the street edge. |

Cheryl, a lovely framing of the flower and curve of the stem. I am not sure what the inner stroke adds, but I like the creativity. Maybe some more contrast as it seems a little flat, and bringing down the highlights of the flower pedals. |

Thanks. Reassuring. It is fun to put the original with the processed, and I think that will generate better feedback for me. Maybe others will do that too, as this is a feedback forum. |

I may have but not much. But what I did do was lighten it, and it may be too light now. I found a tendency to have them too dark when posting. Your comments are always appreciated. |
