Angela, I still come back to this shot, and it is in my brain. So, I cannot give a better compliment than that. |

Brent, love the creativity of the shot. it is straight on the left, and that is important, so good job. Seems a little over sharpened, and i would like to see a more grungy bnw with lots of contrast, and a dark sky. Maybe try a infrared look, or polarization in photoshop, just a thought. |

Cheryl, really good lighting and smile. would like to see the background even more out of focus, and more texture on your subject and her dress. I like the leading lines of the road. |

Hema, love the shot. great you got the guy turned around and where he is placed on the right. very inviting. one suggestion would be to see if you could straighten it as it tilts slightly to the right, and to see if you could add just a little bit at the bottom to get the railing more in but still keep it with the border merger. Wish i had taken that shot! |

Bonné, those are tough questions. Ultimately, it is what appeals to you and what you like, find successful. That said, it is a tough question you ask. I really like the extra contrast and structure you added. I would like a little more room on top. For me, i would have to play with the framing, find what attracted me to the shot, my overall main subject, and I would work around that. To me the most compelling is the water wheel, and i would try variations to see what best worked to accentuate that. Not sure what it would look like, or if I would keep the original you had, but i would crop in even more than this variation, and see what appeals to me. |

What a great scene. Personally i would bring down the highlights and straighten the building, and crop in from the left as to me it does not add and thus takes away from the wonderful building. Love the fence leading the viewer into the scene. |

Now that is well done. Sharp, motion, tells a great story. wonderful. great background. being really nit picky, maybe a very little more space along the bottom, and a little more contrast, as i bet you can get some great feathers to pop. But oh what a story. You nailed it!!! |

Janet, well now how cute. Sharp and love the pose. You might consider cropping down even more, so it looks more deliberate. and it gets rid of the rivet, that draws my eye. A little bright on the hair that can be brought down. A lovely successful shot. Love the gesture of the face. |
