Wow Cheryl, that is an awesome compliment. I really never know for the most part the impression my pictures have, as I usually minimize my view of my pictures. Yet, when I get feedback like yours, I elevate my awareness and appreciation for my own pictures as well as others. So, a big hug. |

Isaac, if I tell you then i have no secret. lol. Actually, i practice a lot, take a lot, and this is a very tight crop. i would be more than happy to send you off line the original so you can see, but i also use topaz denoise, topaz sharpen, and photoshop, along with lightroom. I believe i only used topaz denoise on this picture. i acually went to photoshop after i posted this image and i think i got it better. I would be more than happy to share that too. if you wish, my email is rgusdorf@attystl.com, and i will share those with you, and would be happy to talk on the phone anytime about what i like and do not like and how i use the programs. |

Hema, you go them all off the ground, and shadows to the right. A good story here, and all i could suggest is to tone down the grass, and increase highlights on the faces on the left, and if you have a little more room on the left, then just a tab. |

Janet, you are so funny, as i have a very similar shot that i have submitted for camera club competition this month. Nicely captured, and the fur is wonderful. fun angle, I agree. |

Cheryl, great portrait, great eyes, and what a smile. Might be a bit bright on his face, but could be my computer. Nice. |

Brent, you capture what others miss, and I like that about your shots. I would look to tone down the snow, and it will get the tractor to pop, especially if you increase its texture and some saturation. |

I love that, taking a pic wide open as you point out, and among some known as Randy 2.8. lol. Thanks for the info. |

Angela, another wonderfully intriguing shot. Love the expressions, especially of the lady on the right, and the hand gesture of the lady on the left. I would never know you used Photoshop and combined three images if you did not mention that. And I would never have realized this is an image of the same person, yet, I am not even sure of that. Love the colored socks. I think you took this for its value, not overly concerned with the highlights, which is ok. On my screen they look a little red. You might want to crop a little off the right, to make it the same border as on the left. The socks on the left are bright, might want to tone those green socks down, and bring in saturation on the purple and red socks. Truly a funny picture, and I do not know how you created it, but it wonderfully works! Same jeans, same shoes, and no glasses on the right on her face but in her hand, and the other glasses are rendered differently, and I find that very successful. I bet that is an appreciated shot for who you took their picture. |

Bonne, great capture. lovely background, and the bird tack sharp. A little soft at the end of the stick, but that is ok, but I wonder why the bug is not more sharp, which I find a little distracting. The bird is the subject, so that is what counts. Love the angle, and the catch-light in the eye.
