81 Jun 19 Reply I agree with your description, and also agree to the left we are lead with our imagination. Jun 29th
81 Jun 19 Reply Brent, if it is ever so encouraging, i crop all the time, sometimes a lot. I look for enhancements, and look to eliminate distractions. It hurts, as parts deleted are my babies. Yet, I am compelled to constantly consciously decide my main subject, and support it with its surroundings. Jun 19th

81 Jun 19 Reply Good morning Brent, Thx for feedback. I added contrast, but i see i need to be more bold......so everyone's feedback is well taken. Jun 19th
81 Jun 19 Comment Thx Cheryl. I do agree more contrast. i appreciate your comments, including the bnw in comparison to the color version. Jun 18th
81 Jun 19 Reply Thx Hema. I hated titling when I started, now i love it. Jun 13th
81 Jun 19 Comment Hi Hema, I love the little ants, and the two in focus are very interesting, and color very good. I would really have enjoyed it more if depth of field was larger, getting more in focus, so maybe crop in, but if you do it again more depth of field. I think you found a winner in that lens! 81 Jun 19 Comment Sandy, I love the wonderful flowers and the large tree that anchors the pic. I also find very appealing that you have a back wall of small trees that stop the viewer, and thus remain on the flowers, hence the horizontal crop. I am longing for more, and find if you have a little more at the bottom, and on top, a more traditional crop may be even more successful. Since you can, you might consider cloning out the thin tree on the front middle right, as it stops my eye. I bet that was a wonderful hike, and you do a great job sharing that scene with us. Jun 9th
81 Jun 19 Comment Angela, wonderful colors and reflections, and the upper right lights are handled extremely well. The photo has many details, like the puddle on the left. There is a lot of ceiling and dark on the right side, and you might consider a crop that brings the ceiling down and the right inwards, just above that 4th light, like you did with that 5th light, and maybe crop a little from the bottom. That way i get to see the details of the beautiful reflections and colors..............It is the scene, and if they were walking towards you, seeing their faces, but that is not what was in this really wonderful scene. I think you handled exposure perfectly. I love the red reflections of her coat, and the green reflection in the upper left. I wonder too if a tighter crop would being out the reflection of the puddle on the left. Finally, i like the way the railing completes the pic, as it completes the pic with an otherwise empty space, and it also has a nice reflection on the inner wall. I like it a lot. Jun 9th
81 Jun 19 Comment Cheryl, that is an outstanding picture, and I love the colors and how the leaves fade, dissolve, and blend into the background. I also like that it is slightly off-centered, and how you created an appealing boarder. The only thing I wonder is if it is tack sharp for the main center flower. I cannot tell on my computer, but you might want to see if it is, or if you could and should sharpen that area. I love how the inner leaves fold in and wrap the flower. Very nice! Jun 9th
81 Jun 19 Comment Brent,
I love the colors, well done. I love the little needle just under and following the underside of the main object. I would see what a tighter crop would bring, as the right corner that is soft would be eliminated, and more detail of your main subject would be seen in detail, as I want to see more of it. The colors are perfect, and I like the angles how they interpose and intersect. Nicely seen.
