67 Apr 25 Comment Nice shot showing interaction of the birds. In Lightroom you might try "Select Subject" and adjust the mask if needed using a brush - include the post. Lighten the shadows on the subject and lower the highlights a bit. Then select "duplicate and invert mask" - soften focus and clarity of the background just a little to provide better separation from the subject. That's just the way I'd do it. Apr 20th

67 Apr 25 Comment Great shot of a beautiful creature. Shot of a lifetime. I looked at the original and thought a different crop might work. Keep the landscape orientation of the original and crop to show the cat in the open area, leaving a small amount of foliage around the edges as a frame. See attached. Apr 15th
67 Apr 25 Comment Good shot. I celebrate every time I'm lucky enough to get a good BIF shot. The problem I have with a Steve Perry type of setup is that I seldom do a BIF shot and forget how it works. Anyway, good luck with that. You got the eye sharp and that's good. Apr 15th
67 Apr 25 Reply Thanks Susan. The haze is accentuated on the right side of the image because of the afternoon sun. Good thing is that it gives a nice backlight to the people. And it is an erupting volcano! Apr 15th
