I think you did a pretty good job of recovering the detail. As for cropping, I like the original better. Looks more balanced. Going B&W was the right thing to do. And the snow. That snow! This gives the image a better story. It's cold!! |

Sorry to be late this month but I've been traveling. I agree that there's a little too much clutter on the right side, and I like Larry's crop. You caught the wings perfect IMO. To me, the red adds interest - you would expect a hummingbird to be attracted to the brightly colored flowers. Good shot!! |

Coatis are closely related to raccoons, which raid our bird feeders every night. We still love them. As always with you, the technical stuff is all good. Interesting pose and eating a bright red berry is very cool, as we professionals like to say. Nice shot! |
