Yes I'll re-crop this one, otherwise stay the same. As usual, thanks to all for the comments. Now for some bad news. I will not be submitting an image for next month. If you have trouble handling this, grief counselors are standing by. Just call BR-549. |

That's a really cute photo, with the different bird poses. Looks good but I might try cropping a little more off the top and right sides and lightening the shadows just a "hair". |

When an image looks oversharpened I mess around with contrast, highlights and/or clarity until it looks better. |

David, you have done a great job of taking an ordinary image and creating something beautiful, interesting and dramatic. Well done!

Bud, what an awesome image. The highlights on the owl are just amazing, and the background is perfect. What a print this would make! |

All sharp and good. Although the birds are not actually going uphill, the close crop makes it appear that way. I would either rotate the image to make it look less so, or widen the crop to clearly show the dune environment. A cute and appealing subject. Thanks. |

Hi Susan, I agree with the others about the crop, to include more of the environment. The bird looks a little oversharpened and plastic, and a wider crop helps that. |
