I totally agree with you. I like the image but sorry for the poor frog. Although you are a lowly newbie I'm going to pay attention to your comments ;) |

Yes, as I told Larry, some days you get a better profile, some days you don't! |

I think color is the way to go. Great job bringing out the colors and contrast, especially in the sky. I like Larry's crop not only to clean up the foreground but also to give the image a more panoramic look. Good!! |

Lovely shot. Birds are nice and sharp. IMO no need for everything to be in perfect focus. And I wonder if you could have opened up the lens a little more to bring down the ISO. Great pose on the adult with the legs folded. As for crop I would prefer a wider crop to show more of the reflection and more space in front of the birds. See attached image - I worked on the reflection to make it a little less hazy. |

Nice shot. You caught the lion's tongue lapping up the water just right. You remind me that I never use the P mode. Had to look it up. How wonderful to visit Africa and witness the wildlife in it's natural habitat. |

Hey Larry, I must admit that I'm always biased toward beauty over telling a story. Probably a genetic defect. And this is a wonderfully beautiful shot with crisp detail on the birds, great lighting and that bokeh with its softness and varying colors is a perfect complement. If you entered this at the Bradley County Arkansas Fair I would give it a blue ribbon. |

Hi Susan,an interesting shot as pointed out by others. I find the background to be a little distracting - too bright and oversaturated. Also, I think a wider crop would be good on this one - just my preference to include more of the bird's environment. And I totally agree with comments about shooting with the long lens wide open, manual with auto ISO. |
