Lots of ways to go with this image. I still think the buttes are the star of the show and the tangled foreground, although sharp, doesn't add much. The soft focus on the buttes might could be partially fixed with Topaz Sharpen AI or similar app. |

Hi David, I would try cropping out the top layer of clouds and also cropping about a third of the image off the right side, providing greater focus on those beautiful sunlit cliffs. Maybe try lightening the shadows a little. |

Excellent! Owl is perfect and the "dimples" in the background snow show up well giving a nice effect. You might try removing that straight thin dark line in the snow near the top of the image. |

I remember a horror movie that was advertised with the caption "Be afraid. Be very afraid." It's perfect for this image, which is simply amazing. |

Hey Susan, I agree with the others. Nice try and a learning experience. In the old days we couldn't even think about improving the image the way you did. So work work work those sliders. Be bold!! It's a brave new world out there. |

Another really nice shot from your trip. All good, but the only thing that struck me was that the background could be a little more clear. Just a little. In Lightroom, dehazing might work. |
