Thanks for the detailed description. I have learned a lot from your images over the years. Wonderful shot, of course. I like the inclusion of the everglades giving an impression of the vastness.

It hurts me to have to agree with Larry ;) but this is a wonderful image. The pose of the two wolves looks so natural and elegant. Wolf's eye is sharp and its yellow color stands out. Wow! Cropping is perfect and I love the high-key sort of painterly look. You did a heck of a job on this one. |

Another great penguin shot. You should consider making a coffee-table book from your photos. I'd buy one, but expect a steep discount for being a member of this group. Wonderfully composed with the penguins in the foreground and stream leading toward the mountains. Now Cindy don't be afraid of those sliders. They are there to be slidden!! |

Hey, my motto is "shoot'em if you got'em". And the American Crow is a beautiful and interesting bird. I admire anyone who can get a decent bird-in-flight shot. Nice colors on the crow and it's carrying some corn which adds interest. IMO you cropped a little too close. I'd go with 8x10 and crop the original by about 20%, leaving some room in front of the crow. |

Wow this is a beautiful image. The colors, pose of the subject and the branch with leaves are good. I suggest cropping closer to eliminate most of the distractions on the right side of the image, cloning out what's left and reducing the amount of sky. I messed around with the image in Lightroom and it's attached. |

As for me, I like that big orange cloud at the top. It's really beautiful and I would definitely include it in the image. But I have a feeling that a REAL photographer (that ain't me) might suggest to crop that out because it detracts from the landscape subject, and settle for those beautiful orange highlights on the mountain peaks. Cropping would also give the image a more panoramic look. Your original image is blank on my screen so I can't see the possibility, but if you can significantly widen the image and crop a little off the top, the orange cloud might not steal the show. |
