Hi David, good eye, sir! I never noticed the dark spots. That can easily be fixed. Thanks so much. |

Hi Cindy, thank you so much for the suggestion. I actually did bring down the brightness a bit on prints I made. |

Rich thanks so much for the comments. Although I'm from "deer country" and am a professional forester, I never hunted deer. I was once an avid quail hunter, but find hunting with a camera much more rewarding.

Thank you so much for the comments. Yes it is challenging for me to even come up with a title for images. And writing a story to go with it? Oh boy. Me see deer. Me like tongue. Me take picture. |

Hey David, that's a cool looking rainbow. Good job of capturing the color. I think it would not hurt to widen the crop a bit on both sides of the waterfall. Yes you would have more of a dark corner, but that could be reduced somewhat by selectively lightening the shadows Lightroom or whatever you use. |

Hi Bud, what a heartwarming image. I too wish one of the animals had turned its head toward the camera Did you try pishing? ;) I think the face of the baby is too bright and could be toned down a bit. Also I think the subjects need more room. I would show more of the surroundings, cropping to leave more room on the left side because that is the way the baby is looking. Thanks for an interesting image! |

Hi Rich, that's quite a welcoming committee! Everything looks good to me but I would have cropped a little differently. Not sure why, but that little bird with the gaping mouth in the lower left corner really adds to the image for me. I would leave more room on the left and nearly all of the original image on the bottom. Brings that little fella more into the image and gives it better balance. Thank you!! |

Hi Larry, Great story. How can I get some of this "patience" you talk about? You've really captured the intensity of the stalking predator. I read Cindy's comment about cropping and agree. I would crop about a third of the space on the left and allow more room on the right of the subject if the original image allows it. Thanks. |

Cindy, what an amazing shot. How on Earth do those birds do it. I like the colors and the sharpness of your final image, but actually like the uncropped image better. The bird on the far left is looking at the subject as if he can't believe what he's seeing. Priceless! If it were me, I would keep the image to original width and completely crop out that black line on top. Great Shot!!! |

Hey Susan, what a great action shot. There is so much to like in this one. Wonderful action pose. That bird has his eye on something and he's going for it. Love the tail just about touching the water and the wing position. I like the way you increased the saturation of the blue water and the background effect of the waves. You will need to make all your future posts this good or, trust me, this group will tear you apart! (joking) |
