Hi David, this is a very beautiful shot. You were lucky but because you are a good photographer you were able to make th most of that luck. I like the crop. The dark triangle in the lower right corner throws the image a little off balance, to me, but not that big a deal. I'm sure you recovered all you could from that area. A wonderful image. |

This image really tells a story. Those cormorants were not at all pleased with the arrival of that spoonbill. Subject is well separated from the background, but is not sharp (at least on my computer). You might also try brightening up the spoonbill by adding some vibrance and lightening a bit. Also lighten the shadows on the cormorants. Nice image! |

Simply a beautiful image showing plumage fantastic plumage detail. I only judge for myself, and I would give it very high marks! |

Hi Jason, I agree with the comments about cropping more closely. Main thing for me is that the bee appears to be over-sharpened and too contrasty (is that a word?). You might try backing off the sharpening and contrast. Good image! |
