A very nice heartwarming image. It is high contrast, so I would have reduced highlights and lightened shadows 100% in Lightroom. To further isolate your subject you could try using the adjustment brush to darken the background a bit, which is pretty bright. A slight vignette could also be applied in the "Effects" section of Lightroom. Since you are using Topaz, import the Tiff image back into Lightroom and do additional reduction of highlights and lightening of shadows if needed. |

Very nice. A Carolina Wren I believe. Nice billowy bokeh. |

I like Larry's edits, but this is an excellent image any way you slice it. Well done! Enjoy that new lens. |

I like the composition on this one. The elk standing in the lower third of the photo, the bands of darker grass, each one more faint as they fade into the fog, the tree leaves in the upper corner providing some balance, and I also noticed a few wildflowers in the foreground. Nice job! |

So cool. Fibonacci gone wild! This image shows that you truly have the eye of a macro shooter. Looking at the original, I might have done the cropping of you final image a little differently. Include the entire fern, creating a square format. Keep thinking small! |

I see no problem with including that modest little house in the photo. I pity the poor folks who live there - the view up there must be terrible!
Great photo, as usual. I like the effects of the slow shutter speed on the water and clouds. I can almost feel the cold wind and the spray from the unsettled ocean. |
