Thanks to everyone for the comments. I guess because I was there and knew the dunes were on the up slope I never thought about the change in the environmental look after cropping. Good point. I may have included more of the dunes if I had realized the effect the crop made. |

The B&W was the only way to go with this shot. I find it intriguing that the lines of the dark and light are so dominant. That certainty keeps me looking at the image. If were producing a portfolio about trees this would be IN THE MIX FOR SURE. |

Great shot Bud. Action is always better but not always attainable. I would never pass up a shot of this beautiful animal just because of the bird on a stick thing. I like the background as well. Well done. |

Love the photo. I know very little about this type of photography so my comments would not mean a lot. The time and effort you put into this is to be commended. |

I always love seeing your images each month because you post birds that are unique to us in the states. These are cool looking birds, just not very well trained. My only wish would been able to see the front of the birds. |

I'm very late to the party this month, sorry. I love the detail but agree that the crop needs to show a little more of the environment. |

Excellent shot Michael. I am not sure I would have changed much on this image. Maybe the crop just a little at the bottom. It's not every day you get a shot of one of these guys. |
