I like this, David. I Like it a lot. Great that you used monochrome here. I don't know that I would change much. Maybe open up the shadows in the foreground just a little. |

Nice action Bud. My only comment would be to agree with some of the others and add a little more room in front of the Gull. |

I am not much for wading through the marsh grass even in the daylight let alone in the dark. Great shot of the Milky Way and light painting the foreground It worked well for you. The lighted foreground really anchors the image and gives us viewers some perspective of the environment where it was taken. |

The bokeh is really nice in this photo Cindy. The backlighting adds the prefect element to this photo. A little wind has helped mess up the feathers for a little extra detail, that's nice. Really nice image this month. |

Love the action and story of the GBH family. I think you did well with the processing and being handheld made things a little tougher, I am sure. The color of the birds and the sky are very close in tonal range. It would have been nice to have had a few clouds floating by. Walking a mile and a half you get what you can. I think if you had waited for the golden hour of the sunset that would have made difference but then you may have been walking back that mile and a half in the dark. Probably not an option!! Any way I think it is great image, The composition is really good, and it is sharp everywhere. Nice work Susan. |

B&W is the way to go with this image. I spent some time putting this image together in my mind, so many shapes, angles and levels it really messes with my brain. I am sure that this place gets a lot of photographers, but I don't remember ever seeing a photo from there. I like it alot. |

Thanks Larry. I don't really have a great picture from that day but I have this one from another day that I should have used. |

Thanks, Bud for the comment. I guess then, you could say this is an exotic bird from the east. I love watching them. They are messy eaters and never sit in one spot for long when foraging for seeds. Most of them will leave the south in a few days and we won't see them until next spring. |
