Michael I did see it and should have said something about it as well. I like it a lot better because the mountains which I would believe are the main subject and they easley stand out. I just looked at the second image again and the mountains are not competing with the foreground for attention. A big difference.

I think it's a great image Larry . I can't see anything that needs a change. I might play around with a little tighter crop on the right, just a little, I would not want to pull
the waterfall to the center of the image. |

I love the action shots of Snowy Egrets. You got the eye and the water droplets which really enhances the action. Good job. Maybe the Egret could be lightened up a bit without destroying the detail. That would give the bird a little more pop and separation form the back ground water.

Very intersecting image Todd. I will have to agree that it seems quiet dark and when you lightened it up helped a lot. I also like what Michael done with the cropping. I really like the curve in the rock wall leading up to the waterfalls. I know this is after the fact but I am wondering if you could have stepped a couple of steps to the left if it would have enhanced the that leading line even more. Great image anyway.

It's a great scene Michael but I find it very busy. I can't seem to settle on what I want to or should look at. Maybe the gray tones all are to close to each other and all seem to run together. I really like the color image better than the B%W. Seems to be more definition in the scene especially the foreground and the mountains. I agree with everyone else the tree on the left is not needed and you could lose a little of the foreground. |
