You are most likely correct about the foreground. It does not add to much to the image. I do like the blue in the Sky and would hate to take much of it out. I like that Orange/Blue color combo. I may try it just to see what it looks like. The really nice thing about photography is that it is an art form and we as photo artest are allowed to be as creative as we like.

Hey Guys Wayne was the first to notice that I posted the wrong image as the original. My bad. I gave him a pretty good excuse for my misgivings so I'm sticking with it. Sorry |

This is what happens when you get old. I got in a hurry and posted the wrong image as the original. I grabbed the image next to the cropped image thinking that it was the original. I shot several images of this scene and of course some were sent to the waste basket. I must have sent the original to the waste basket. I am still sticking with my excuse of being old. Thanks for the nice comments Wayne |

Very cool birds. Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to photograph some of those guys. I am assuming that the birds with the bright pinks beaks are adult. |

Always love the Herons Wayne. Your image shows a lot of the parenting thing going on. I do like the backlighting. Maybe for me the Wood storks should be toned down some. They are white and command your eyes to focus on them and they are not the subject of the image. Having said that they are part of photographing in the wild so I understand them being there. |

I have always said the life of a photographer outside the studio can be really tough, it's not for wimps. I am not sure I would have made that treck up a cold wet slippery steam at my age. Your are to be commended for your effort to get the shot you wanted. This image is well worth your effort. The 30 sec. seems to be the perfect number and the Crop is really good because it makes that waterfall the subject. Color is really good as well. I like the softness of the water against the ruggedness of the Moss covered rocks. Well Done.
