Hi Patrick, being a newbie, I'm still figuring out where I will land with the study groups. I will be part of group 63 that will become a Nature Plus group on 10/1. I believe that will be my "home" for a while. I'm interested in macro photography, but looks like I will focus on the nature group for now. Sorry for the confusion! - Wayne |

Greetings, I am new to this group and have no yet uploaded any images. While becoming oriented to the site, I noticed Murphy's photo and decided to jump in. I really like this photo. There is no one right way to capture a leaf pattern, but I wonder how it would look with a slight shift of the frame to the left, so that the more of the left leaf is included (like the two center leafs). I marvel at the water beads along the leaf edges. They suggest motion around the edge of the leaves, giving it a whimsical feel. Great shot! (I'll submit my self-photo in a bit.) |
