Certainly makes for a more interesting image being turned in B&W.
Post processing makes it look almost as if it is a pencil sketch. I like it!! |

Great close up of the Giraffes head to start with. Love the background and also how you have brought out the texture in the head. Putting in the butterfly has added another dimension to the image.
Great image!! |

I recently watched a video on using the pattern tool stamp for making backgrounds and textures and this just shows what can be achieved doing just that!! I really must give it a go!
I agree with Keisha and Jan about bringing back more of her pretty face.
Well done.

Wow what a sight that must have been!!.
Adding more balloons has really worked and made a "full" image. They are lovely and sharp. I wonder what ISO you had to use? |

The clouds are the real stars of the image!! Interesting the way you have used the colouring to give it a painted look which has worked well.
I do wonder whether you could crop in closer at the bottom to really bring the clouds forward?
Great shot and well seen. |

Certainly gives an impression of cherry blossom and therefore more interesting than the original.
The two lower corners, I think, would be better also turned pink but that may not have been what you wanted!
Well done. |

Your post processing has made the original into a stunning image. I especially like the second face in the "nose"!! |

The Rock is certainly a sight to see and visit. Went there from Morroco years ago.
Good composition but I feel it has a blue cast to it. I took a copy into PS and used levels to select a mid tone off the rock and also took back some of the deep blue of the sea.
See what you think. |

I think I understand from your wording that your son has died? Really sorry to hear that and cannot comprehand how you must feel.
What you have done is a lovely tribute to your son. The three images have been well combined and putting the lower two into mono works well. I like the hands over the face on your son. I have tried this myself but not so successful as this!!
Well done. |

Lovely shot of the university. I expect it looks a bit different on match day!!
I think the sky contributes a lot to the image and I am glad you pulled a bit more detail out in your post processing.
What would have made it even better, in my opinion, is if there had been a bit of wind and the flags were flying!!
Well done. |

Lovely shot of your gorgeous dog. Like the way she is looking at you over her shoulder. The blurred background really makes her stand out.
I find the slightly wider white"distressed" line on the right side level with her ears a bit distracting but otherwise a lovely image. Well done. |
