Maybe flip image up the other way so larger waves and darker area is at the base?

20 Feb 25 Comment That looks really cold and the blue emphasises this. The painterly effect really shows up in the mountains.I woner if you could bring out a bit more colour in the barn to make it stand out a bit more? Just my idea!! Feb 6th
20 Feb 25 Comment Certainly gives the impression that the bear is on a fishing trip!! I like the placing of the bear looking over the waves. The blurred blue in the background works well.
I think I might have kept a bit more definition in the bear from the original as he looks bit washed out?

Lovely photo of your grand daughter enjoying herself. I personally like the colour version best as it shows up more detail especially in the ice cream.
In the B&W I had a play with levels to lift some of the shadows from her face as they are quite dark and you lose detail. See what you think.		 Feb 9th
81 Feb 25 Comment My type of image and so well done. The starkness of the black and white against the red rose works really well.The shadows and reflections have been done very well. I also like the circular vignette as this really highlights the subjects.
Only thing I might do is remove the green leaf sticking up at the back of the rose? Once seen I keep looking at it!!

81 Feb 25 Comment A lovely, well lit image of the Hibicsus flower. There is a lot of detail captured in the image. Glad that you added to reflection as the original does look as if it is floating in the air.
The "water" ripples really add to the image and I also like the way the border has ripples as well. Like you I prefer the B&W version better as it really shows off all the texture and details of the flower.
What is the app you used for the ripples?
