Your post processing has made a lovely and poignant image and has more impact than the original. Looks very cold!! |

You did a lot of work with this image. I think it has given it a cartooney feel. I like the positioning of the bird and the curve of the branch he is sitting on. |

Well done, a great and different image. Very much like the diagonals and zigzags of the trees. |

Thanks Ian.
I see what you mean about balancing the image with more detail in the leaves on the left. They didn't have much as almost dead!!
Will have a try to get more detail out of the and see. |

Thanks Randy. As ever a very in depth critique which I always welcome. That's the way to learn in my opinion!!
Yes, I did want to make a very high key image but see your point in blending the vase even more with the background. The leaves were on the point of all dropping off but I did a similar image when they were fresh and it didn't work for me! Much more of a story when they have nearly fifinshed. |

Lovely image to remember your village and time there. Looks a great place to live. It gives a feel of the peace you have found there. |

Must be a very colourful and interesting spectacle to see.
The gradient masks have worked really well and you can see all the details of the people inside the wagon. Everything is lovely and sharp. Like that you cropped out the horse rider on the left side.
Well done. |

I had a goat, called Harry, who was just like this one!! He was huge and up to my waist in height!! Had to be put down when quite old due to arthritis.
I like the square crop and position of the goat looking into the scene. Turning the BG mono and blurring it really makes him stand out.
Well done. |

A great scene and a well balanced composition. The balloon adds the final touch to the overall image. Beautiful image!
I do agree it is a bit blue and had a play myself to reduce it in PS. Also I upped the saturation of the red roofs by the church. See what you think. |

Some people are so clever and talented. Always have wished that I could draw!!
You did well to take out the other drawings from the left side. Darkening the drawings really has brought out all their details. Two of the people I recognise!!
I have tried an even closer crop to really concentrate on the artist and her drawings. See what you think?
Well done. |

Many thanks for all the info about the sculpture.
You have done well to get so much detail in the horses etc. and the marble. Lot of detail in the shadows as well.
I did wonder about cropping off the right hand side a little to get rid of the top part of another building but it didn't look right!! I think it is because the image has been taken at an angle instead of straight on. I have not been there so do not know if that would have been possible?
Well done. |
