Thanks, Peter. Also thanks for the name, very appropriate!! I think I agree to flip it would look better.
No, I do not use a smoke machine just incense sticks or cubes. |

What a great shot to help you remember a lifetime experience.
I like the painterly look you have used which has helped blur the background nicely.
I wonder if a little more contrast would help lift the lion a little and bring out his eyes a bit?
Well done. |

They certainly seem to be having a great game and really enjoying themselves!!
What you have done with the snow is really effective. The two blue strands for the net do a good job.
I might perhaps tone down the ball a little as it, to me, seems to dominate the scene? |

Great job of removing the distracting background. The post processing has made the image really vibrant. Still plenty of detail to beable to see what is happening.
Well done. |

Very creative and love the colour combinations. Must be a wonderful sight to see!! I like the extra motion you have made in the Dogwood trees which adds a bit of drama to the image.
I think the image gives the illusion of leaning to the left a little on the upper areas?

A lovely colourful market scene. Beautiful colours.
I wondered whether a crop right in onto would produce a less busy image? I cropped in and slightly rotated the result. See what you think? |

Knowing how fast these creatures move you have done really well to get so much in focus!! Really strange head close up!!
It is a pity your shutter speed was quite slow but that is always hindsight!!
Well done. |

Well spotted!! Very hard to get bees in flight, I have tried on numerous occasions!!
I like the out of focus bee which adds just a little interest in the lovely blurred background. The crop is just right and the bee well placed. Darkening the petals of the flower has worked well.
I do think the bee is a bit over sharpened as there are some halos round it? |

A different from the normal portrait of these strange creatures!! I like the angle of her looking off to the right. Glad you were able to get some shots.
I did try it with a blurred background but agree with you that it looks better as it is. Seems to make the animal stand out more.
Well done for removing the distracting stick. |

Well spotted!! Not the usual type door. When I first looked I thought it had vines growing over it till I looked closer!!
Glad you didn't tidy the image up too much otherwise it would have lost it's originality. You did well cloning out the car boot!! Just a shame the right side has a lot of light area but that cannot be helped.
Well done.

I like the angle the image has been shot at. Gives a feeling of the height of the building. The flection of the sky and adjoining building has been handled well. The edge roofs of the buildings on the right help to hold the image together. I like the sun behind as it lifts the building off the sky.
Not too sure now it has happened but there are halos around the flagpoles and roofs on the right? |
