Really colourful scene. I like the way you have used the trumpet player on either side but with him in a different position. The chapo top right looks well pleased with life!!
Well done. |

The bridge really pops out at you!! Great idea to put B&W on top and then masks through areas you wanted. You did well with the reflection. |

Looks to have been a good photogenic event!!
I agree he looks much more at home. You did well to select all his feathers!! I think the sun rays works really well and he has been well integrated into your background. I like the overall "canvas" effect. Well done.

Kurt, sorry for being so long in replying to your question.
Using the backscreen of your camera line up the flower to one side and focus on it then as you press the shutter move the camera. The lens then picks up the flower but as you moved the lens then it will blur. |

Certainly brings back memories.
Well spotted and makes an interesting image. All sharp. The only post processing I can make out is straightening?
Wonder if having whole of the pump and some environment in the image would "say" a bit more?
Well done.

A striking memorial to an event that shall never be forgotten.
I found the image a little dark and had a bit of a play with it. I cropped in a little on the right hand side and straightened the image. In ACR I used the shadows slider to get a bit more definition in the base of the monument.

Thanks for your kind comments.
I didn't use a blending mode but masking. I put the two images on top of each other in PS and using a mask brushed away what I didn't want.
I think scrolling through the blending modes is the best way to go as you can then pick which one suits your image best. Ypu can get some surprising results. |

Great image!! I like the way you have positioned each item especially the bottle top which adds to the story. You have done well with the lighting and I like the red of the reflection in the bottle. It will look great on your wall with last months.
Only slight niggle is that the eveness of the graduated light is broken by the bottles shadow on the right. Not too sure how that could have been avoided other than perhaps widening the arc of the light.
Well done, great job. |

Only a mother could love them!! The one on the right looks as if it is laughing at his sibling trying to wrestle with the snake.
Great shot and glad you cropped right in to just show the two youngsters. You did well removing the twig that was right down the side of the left hand bird.
I would just remove the white corner top right but other than that a good job. |

Why do we have these big cameras when you can get a great shot like this with a phone!! I think it is the way things will go!!!
Well seen and well executed. The people and cars give it all a sense of scale. All lovely and sharp and a nice colour range.
The only thing, for me, is the red car at the bottom tends to draw your eye?.
Well done. |
