81 May 24 Comment Great shot, well done. Been to similar in UK and not easy to judge the right time to get the full effect of the canon going off.
Like the way that all except for one brave chap are looking away from the canon!. Sharp where needed and the dark background adds to the atmosphere.		 May 5th

You have done well with the lighting and post processing has brought everything out really well. I would like to know how you got the graduated circle of light at the base as you said your lighting was off to the left which has caused the lovely shadows?.
Only little thing I would have done was to have got rid of the white dots towards the top of the black bottle.

81 May 24 Comment Well spotted!! Hopefully they will have babies there and you can get some great shots of them being fed. Do not have this type woodpecker in UK so nice to see.
Colours are lovely and natural and the crop has been well done. Could be a bit sharper but that is wildlife photography for you!!
