Your post processing has made the image a lot more interesting and colourful. Has a painterly effect. |

Unusual abstract image. Think I might have "twisted" it more?
Like what Peter has done to the image. |

Gives a real sense of distance. Turning the image to mono has worked really well. |

Conker casings are very prickly "shells" with the conkers inside. Couldn't find any conkers as I think the children pick them up to play conkers with!! |

I prefer that image Rose where it shows both horses and riders. |

Welcome to our group JoAnn.
I like the way you have cropped the image. The post processing you have done in Topaz has worked well especially with the lighting. The museum seems an interesting place to visit and get some great shots.
Not sure whether it is my eyes but the image seems to slope a little towards the right? |

So innocent at that age and also a lot better when they are asleep!!
As usual a great portrait from you. Very well exposed showing up all the detail.
Just a couple of things, in my opinion. Rather than having him horizontal in the frame rotate a little so his head is further up? Also would it be better to have the shawl "tail" all in the image rather than going off the top? |

The horses are so synchronised that hard to tell there are two there especially on the back legs!! I had to look really close to just be able to discern the second rider by a sliver of their riding helmet.
The image is lovely and sharp and you have placed the subject so it has somewhere to move into the image.
Well done. |

I agree bees are much easier to get lovely and sharp, as this image is, when it is a bit colder!! Lovely and sharp where it is needed. You have got the colouring just right as well as the position of the bee.
Only thing I do not like is the white band down the right hand side of the image. Bit distracting?

He looks as if he has had a hard life. Lot of character in his face. Nicely framed by the doorway. Glad he didn't smile for the camera as that would have spoiled the whole shot!!
The crop works well and everything is pin sharp. Can even see he has odd buttons on his shirt!! Wonder what he was thinking while you took the image!!
Well done.

Well done. |
