I doubt my daughter would have let me include her face but take your point and also about the top left corner!!! She doesn't wear much jewellery same as me!! |

I had exactly the same Orchid but it promptly died when I moved house!!!
I know it can be quite a challenge getting a shot of just one flower because of the way they grow but you have managed it very well. I think it looks more like a little Cossack dancer rather than an angel!! It is lovely and sharp and the exposure has been handled well. I like the post processing you have done as it makes the flower the centre of attraction.
Only thing that might have improved it, in my opinion, is not to have cut off the top of petal but well done.

I would say that was very well spotted!! Amazing how much detail you have managed to get from the original.
The snake is definitely testing the air/water and I like the way the ripples frames it's head. Lovely and sharp and natural tones. Well positioned in the frame.
The reflection bothers me a little (or is it a stone?) I think it takes some of the attention away from the snake. Perhaps it could be toned down a little?
Otherwise a great shot, well done.

A lovely sharp image of the rose and it is in a position in the image. I like the muted tones in the background but wonder if it would make the rose stand out more if it was blurred a little more?
The lighter part of the background, top right, catches the eye rather and perhaps could be toned down a bit?
Well done. |
