A lovely portrait of your grandson. I much prefer this one to last month's, sorry!!!
The lighting is great with an overall softness to the image (baby soft I mean) !! His eyes are lovely and sharp and good that he is looking towards the camera. The hat sets it all off bringing just enough colour to the image.I think there is just about enough definition between his onesie and the background.
Great shot, well done. |

I think it was well worth risking the cold and wind to get a sunset like this, well done!!
I like the letterbox crop and glad you got rid of all the railings!! The colour pallette is good and, for me,all the seagulls help to emphasise a feeling of the cold and wind making it into a great image.

Lovely portrait of a gorgeous cat!!!
I like the way you have managed to blur all except for his face. The crop is very good and I like the frame as well.
I think that as you used such a large aperture his nose appears to be more sharp than his eyes.Perhaps f8 might have been better fi you had time before he moved. His colouring is great.
To remove the white spot the healing brush in PS is your best bet. I tried it and one dab and it was gone!! |

I thought at first that the head was a live fish looking at the eagle but then realised from your title what had happened!!
A great shot and considering how much you have had to crop in you and the camera have done well!! There is a lot of detail on the bird and the snow/ice surrounding him. Exposure seems to be spot on and all sharp. Only thing I might have liked is a bit more room in front of the eagle but I can see where you are coming from and you needed that fish head behind him which tells the story.
Well done.

You are so lucky to see one of these!! Quite rare in the UK and I have only seen on the TV!!
I like the way you have cropped in and put the bird on the left hand thirds. You can see why they are so hard to find as they blend in so well with all the reeds. It could be said that the background is too busy but that is where these birds live and feed so that cannot be helped. The colour has been well handled and looks natural.
Well done. |
