I like the composition and whole image lovely and sharp.
Real shame the sky is so bland. I tried to see if there was any more detail to come out but there wasn't. Could perhaps try in LR to select sky and replace with another?
Great shot and looks a lovely place to visit. |

Thanks, Randy as ever a very constructive critique. See what you mean about the left pepper and I will lighten it a tad. |

Lovely image of the Finch. Well cropped and I like the placement of the branch and bird. The bird is lovely and sharp with a nice catchlight in his eye. The BG beautifully blurred ensuring that the bird is centre stage!!
No negatives that I can see, well done!! |

Lovely colourful shot of these flowers. (Osteospurnum?)
I like that you have cropped in a little and the flowers all look lovely and sharp. Also I like the border you have given the image.
The BG could perhaps be blurred a bit more as still very busy.
The main distraction I find though is that very pale petal on the lower right of the image. Would be quite easy to clone out in PS?
Great image, well done. |

Hema, You sent two images for January and I chose this one for the main one as I felt it was a better image and sharper. Other group members may disagree!!!
A beautiful image of the butterfly and I love the bokeh in the BG. I like the composition and placing of the butterfly as I think the bokeh adds a lot to the image and cropping in would lose this!!
A great image, well done. |

How sad this lady looks!!!
I like the subtle lighting and it is lovely and sharp.
I think I would have liked a bit more separation at the top as her hair is lost in the shadow but otherwise a great portrait, well done. |

A lovely image and very well composed. I like the colour pallette which looks very natural. Lovely and sharp thanks to the focus stacking something I am doing a lot of recently.
Not too sure that I like the lines in the background though I suspect you have chosen it to correspond with the lines of the carpet (?) that the vase is set on.
Great image, well done. |
