21 Dec 21 Comment This would look great as a big print on a white wall. I like the diagonal line going through it and that one piece has been partially hidden by a plain strip in the middle.
We have had Tony Bamley as a speaker at my camera club but he showed nothing like this!!!
Well done and I must give it a try!!!

34 Dec 21 Comment A great image.
Would you mind telling me how you got the look of couple of the chess pieces sinking below the board please? Is it mainly the shading?

81 Dec 21 Comment An amazing looking temple!! Must be hard to decide where to take an image from as so much detail!!
A lovely sharp image and natural looking colouring palette.
Got some detail in the sky.
I think it would look better with the shadows lifted off chap as he is very dark with hardly any detail. I think he is essential in the image as he gives a sense of scale to it all.

81 Dec 21 Comment Great shot of the lighthouse. Looks a very windy day!!
Your post processing has worked well and I like the position of the lighthouse. All looks sharp with plenty texture and detail.
I do wonder whether it might benefit from some of the foreground being cropped off as I feel there is just a bit too much?

81 Dec 21 Comment Isn't she beautiful!!! Love to have had her come to my garden!!
Great crop and I like the pose as well as it leaves you wondering what she is looking at as something has obviously caught her eye.
I like the treatment you have given the image post processing. Only slight quibble I have is that perhaps I would have liked a bit more room in the front of her as she is very central but a minor thought.
Well done

81 Dec 21 Comment A beautiful shot of this charismatic Bullfinch (male). The crop is spot on showing a very natural pose and environment.
The colours are lovely and natural and the bird is pin sharp. The background compliments the image.
Well done.

81 Dec 21 Comment Well spotted and really sharp. You must have a good iPhone!!! Just shows we all have a camera with us at all times!!!
Because of it's colouring the mushroom stands out from the background without having to blur it. The BG is a bit busy but I do not find it too distracting from the main subject.
I like the borders you have created. Well done.
