Love what you have done and in my opinion it makes the image!! Made it seem as if the image was taken with the light from a full moon!! |

Famous street in Bath!! Lovely play of light and shadows. The lamp post does add to the image. I like the reflections shown in the nearest car window.
Not too sure if it is me but the image seems to be falling in from the left side? Did try with perspective but couldn't get it to work. The bright brake light on the second car tends to catch my eye so perhaps it could be toned down a little?

Another great portrait!!! I like the crop you have done as it gives the image a lot more impact. You have done well with your post processing. All seems lovely and sharp and some nice catch lights in the lady's eyes. I like the background you have used. Have looked closely to see the textured overlay you have used but the soft light blend mode and blended it very well!! The slightly lighter patch of her hair on the right side I find catches my eye a little but that is really being a bit picky!!!
Well done. |

Agree about the ISO rather stupid to keep it so high. Using new camera and still getting used to it!! Not flames but a good suggestion to use perhaps a candle for the lighting? Not too sure what else I can get out of the reflections? I used the gradient tool to blur it a little at the base.
Still got liquid in the glasses and decanter so may have another go. |

Really like the crop you have done and the post processing. B&W brings out all the detail and adds a lot to the image. Lovely expression on her face and nicely NOT posed!!
I do find though that my eye goes to the little white speck on top of her hat and then the man in the backgrounds teeth!!! They are very white and distracting! Perhaps tone them down a bit and blur him a bit as well? Otherwise a great shot, well done.
I think the other lady in the shot has clocked you taking a photo!! |

Well caught action shot!! I know how difficult it is to get these shots having tried it with my dog catching her ball. Harder when you have to throw the ball and take photo yourself!!
Unfortunately it seems to have lost some of it's quality with the scan and years!! It seems to be sharp and I like the head on shot as well. Split second timing. Slightly later I think it would not have had the same impact.
Shame not got all her hind legs in the frame but a great shot nonetheless. Well done.

Wasn't till I looked really closely that I realised why you were saying it was an upside down image!!! Can see now that it is a reflection and can just make out some ripples in the water at the "base". Well spotted.
The B&W conversion was a good choice as it looks a rather dull day. I wonder if it could be brightened a little as seems bit dark to me? You have got some good detail in the "sky" which helps the image.
All you need is an upside down duck swimming past!!! |
