Well seen and well processed but do agree with toning the yellows down a tad?

He looks as I feel most days, old!!! Hope he is still having a good quality of life.
Eyes are lovely and sharp and looking straight at the camera. Find that the bright flowers in the background are very distracting and takes your eye away from the dog which is a shame. Perhaps tone those down and it will make him stand out more? |

What a colourful image. Well captured especially as it was taken on a mobile phone!! Just shows you do not need all the latest DSLR to get a great image. Still some detail in the sky and the reflections are lovely.
Do wonder if it could be cropped slightly on the left hand side but just being bit picky!!
Well done! |

Another great candid shot from you!! Well seen. I do not think there was any other way to crop the original at all. The little girl looks a bit worried and her dog even more so!!! Making it B&W was a good choice.
The only thing I find is that with the background so bright my eye goes there and then settles onto the square of roof on the top right. Perhaps would be better with that cloned out but understand you not doing so in case of entering into a photojournalism competition.
Well done!! |

Great shot, looks a lovely place to visit. I like the composition a lot and your post processing has really enhanced the image. It has brought out the detail in the clouds and foreground.
Cannot really find anything to suggest to improve really. Only thing that keeps catching my eye and for no obvious reason is the quite bright top of a weed on the right hand side just on the waters edge but I think that is me!!
Well done. |

Another great shot of the Heron. I think I prefer this one to last months!! He is sharp in all the right places and you have a good full reflection. He is really concentrating on catching a fish he has his eye on. These birds are very flighty so you have done well to get such a good image.
Only small comment is I wonder if a bit too tight in the frame? |

You did well to capture him as he would have been quite high up!! Like the way that he is looking over his shoulder perhaps saying is this his best side? I like the shadow and detail in the pole but find the bird a bit too dark? I have had a quick go with levels in PS so see what you think? |
