Darcy I have just seen your image that is in the Digital Dialog Members showcase and wonder how on earth you got the image so sharp? Is it stacked?
Sorry to be so cheeky but I keep trying with flowers and never get anything like that!! |

Great shot and I really like the treatment you have given it. Think it improves on the original!! Do agree about the yellow at top though which could perhaps be toned down? |

Brilliant composition and the textured BG makes it complete. I personally like the bee as it is so it does not distract from the flowers but does add another element. |

Great abstract image with lovely curves and lines. Changing to B&W I think is the right thing to do as can imagine has more impact than the coloured version.
I do wonder whether it might be improved by lightening the shadow a touch in the main arch to help bring the shape out a bit more? Perhaps clone out the sliver of silver in the bottom right corner? Might just be me but I find the patch of white at edge on left a bit distracting and once seen eye keeps going there!!

Totally agree with you about that shadow!! Did try to remove it but was making a hash of it so gave up. Will give it another go, thanks. |

As an aside Hema sent two versions of her image leaving me to chose which one to submit. Thought best to include both so other members can also make up their minds!!
Looks a very interesting place to visit especially with a camera!!
Great composition and the lighting has been well dealt with. I like the different shades of blue that seem to lead you into the image, well done.

Lovely lighting and the colours all compliment each other. Emphasis is completely on the flowers and they all look really sharp, well done.

Another great flower image, well done.
Like the very subtle texture which means that the flower is not overpowered. The lensbaby makes for an interesting focal point, sharp in centre and falling off to the sides.
Only slight quibble I have is that I find the darker patch of green on the lower left a bit distracting but just my opinion. |
