What great colours!! It seems to me to be a bit on the slant? I think you could crop the top off a little as there is not much colour showing in the trees in that area. Try a square crop?
Well done. |

What an ornate theatre!! I was surprised how low the ISO was that you used, expected it to be lot higher but I suspect as such a long exposure that is how you managed to capture all the detail. Like the star burst as well which adds to the atmosphere. Did look at cropping bit off the left side but it didn't work!! Well done another great image. |

Another cracking portrait that really shows this little chaps character!! Personally I think you have got it all right this time! I like the catchlights and it would look real strange if they were in one eye only. So keep in both. Like the background as well. Is it a "proper" background you have bought?
Well done a great image. |

What a pretty little girl who is obviously enjoying riding her bike!! Lovely blurred background which makes her stand out. I see what you mean about the eyes and I had a little go myself to see if I could improve them. See what you think? I selected the eyes and used levels to brighten them. Then on a new layer I used the patch healing brush to remove the "bags" under her eyes but then lowered the opacity as looked better with some definition there. |

Very different type of image!! Front of the bracelet is as sharp as a tack. The blurred background with just a little colour works well.Well done. |

Janet welcome to our group!!
A very good effort and I love the colours. You seem to have used a very shallow depth of field which means that the slightest movement by you, the bee or a breeze would be exaggerated and it is harder to get anything in sharp focus.I know from personal experience bees are not easy to take images of!! Try a faster shutter speed as well next time which should help get more of the bee in sharp focus. |
