79 Jun 19 Comment I am a visitor from Group 81 and wonder whether you would mind telling me the process you used to make the texture? Am trying to create flower images with this dreamy theme but am having no luck as yet? I do have Topaz but have not used Impressions as yet. Thank you for your help in advance. Jun 22nd

81 Jun 19 Comment Lot us humans could learn about ants!! How to get on and co-operate with each other for a start!!!
Great shot and well spotted. Love the way the colour of the ants blend in with colour of the tree bark. Wonder if you could crop some of the left hand side as the bright area tends to catch the eye? With your macro lens (I have the same) could you have gone in a little closer still and made the ants stand out a tad more? They do appear nice and sharp though. Well done.		 Jun 12th

Like where the chap is placed in the image and lot of detail and texture showing. I wonder if it needs a bit more contrast as to my eye it seems a bit flat?
Looking at the coloured version, in this instance, I prefer that one!! Usually for this type of shot B&W works best but for me I feel there is a lot more atmosphere in the coloured version. The colour of his shirt goes well with the brown of the background and the graffiti shows up better. Just my opinion!!!		 Jun 9th
81 Jun 19 Comment Love the colours and textures in this image also the left to right diagonal. I also like the DOF as it concentrates your eye on the main subject. Makes a nice peaceful image and a "wish I was there" feel!!!
Personally I feel that the image seems a bit out of balance and wonder whether a crop from bottom and on right side would help with this? Have attached image having done this crop. What do you think? I could well be wrong!!!		 Jun 8th
81 Jun 19 Comment I think this is beautiful!! I love this type of floral art and just wish I had the artistic streak that would enable me to think of it let alone actually produce it!! Thanks for saying how it was done and perhaps I can have a go!! The colours all meld together well and the thin stroke finishes it off.
As to regards a critique I cannot think of anything negative to say about it!!

81 Jun 19 Comment I really like this image and as you say it has a feeling of peace about it.
I also like the letterbox shape and the fact that you have concentrated on all the textures and shapes in the lower part of the woods rather than try and get a whole scene in. The muted colours work very well and I think you may have put some grain into the image which I like. It gives it a painterly quality to it. The two smaller trees on each edge help to keep your eye focused.
