I definitely like this in monochrome, also the uncropped version has the most impact. |

Beautiful image! Like Pat said, the rocks direct my eye to the immediate lighthouse and the pattern in the clouds help to redirect me further into the photo to the further structure out on the rocks. Perhaps I'm a bit picky, and I apologize if I'm out of line, but I typically don't like people in landscape shots...typically. This is one of the times I don't like it. Otherwise I enjoy this image...it inspires in me a desire to visit this location myself! |

I like how Karen said it has a haunting feel to it and I wonder if you were to crop in a bit tighter on that last archway if that would focus the impact of that 'haunting' feeling...and I think I would leave the shadows the way they are to retain that feel. Really neat image for sure. |

Wow, this is really interesting! I wonder if you were to crop it such that you only had three guards in the frame...maybe the three to the far left or the 3rd, 4th, 5th if you're counting 1-6 from the left. Do you think that could have more impact on the viewer? |

Your right the camera handled the light really well. I like this as it is, though I'm not the guy to go to for this kind of photography...but the action is all in focus, the ball is easy to distinguish against that white background, and you can see the story of what is happening quite easily. All the periphery things I would imagine are normal for sports photography since you can't always choose the best background depending where they are on the field, court, or otherwise. |

Thank you Pat, my thought was the same with the blemishes...I almost got rid of them in photoshop, but left them to keep it in reality. |

Oh...well, that makes much more sense. Now I feel a bit silly haha.
The image below has the spot removed and is exactly how I would prefer the image to be displayed.

I like the image, good action shot, and that fan is an out of the box(at least for me) way to display an image. |

Thanks Stuart for the feedback, clearly I didn't see that spot. I wanted to retain the image as a square crop but because of the format needing to be 1024x768 this was the only option I could figure...the border isn't technically supposed to be there. |
