60 Dec 18 Reply Hi Bill:
It wasn't intended as a macro shot. I was using a 24-240 lens and just took a close up shot. I definitely wanted the contrasting colors of the struts and the wheels to figure in the picture. I could have cropped it in several ways and I obviously didn't pick the best one.

60 Dec 18 Comment Hi Bill:
Thanks for the Christmas wishes and I trust your 2019 will see you and your loved ones safe and well. I like all aspects of your photo but I do agree that the blur is distacting. As with another entry this month, I wonder if it was intentional or slow speed. I also wonder at what size the photo was submitted as it seems, to me, smaller than usual.

60 Dec 18 Reply Hi Bob and Carol:

I wonder if these changes improve the final result. Perhaps the second one. (I think I have to add that separately).

60 Dec 18 Comment Hi Denise:
I have a sweet tooth so I'm licking my lips! Lots of great color, all other factors come together to make this a stimulating picture. You went to a lot of trouble. I tend to agree with Bob about the out of focus area at the bottom. Now I must get a snack.

60 Dec 18 Comment Hi Bill:
I can't figure out which point you intended to be in perfect focus. Unless my eyes are deceiving me ( and that's quite possible) the clear focus area is a very small portion of the picture and I wonder if you intended, as Bob Crocker mentioned, that the "yellow cluster' also be in focus. Is it almost impossible to get such a small portion in precise focus at that speed? If the whole of the pistil (?) was in clear focus that would make a big difference.

60 Dec 18 Comment Hi Carol:
This gets attention and makes me wonder what the area around it looks like. I love the clear bright colors and just wish I could decipher the message, although I suppose most of it is not present. One wonders what real talent the creators of much of the graffiti have and how it might otherwise be channeled.

60 Dec 18 Comment Hi Bob:
I've never seen this badge before. Looks like its been through the wars. Your efforts to handle the lighting paid off. The focus and the texture come across well and make the subject quite interesting. I remember a Rambler Ambassador my first father-in-law had in Beira Mocambique. Was there a connection between Rambler and Nash?
