Thanks for your suggestions Gordon. I personally believe if you do anything but crop any image, it is no longer a pure image. |

Thanks for your comments. I did use the masking tool, but I think I went too far with it. The rocks actually look better with more contrast against the bird in the original. As you suggested, I should have not darkened as much. |

Nice photograph Henriette. Your inclusion of the foreground adds depth to the photograph to help fully appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the canyon. You also handled the snow well in the photograph (I'm not sure about in your car) because sometimes the snow wrecks havoc on the exposure.
Well done. |

Beautiful photograph Gordon. The softness of the water adds a calmness to the scene. I like your positioning of the elements to draw maximum interest to each one. Well done. |

Great photo Sanford. At a first quick glance I didn't see the mountain through the clouds. Then it was like getting a prize when I saw the awesome hidden mountain. I also always love something red in a photo. Well done. |

Great work pulling out all the fall colors for a beautiful photograph. I like the inclusion of the road in the foreground. It is an interesting picture. Those doors look like they haven't been opened in years because of all the foliage overgrowth. I think you should rethink your priorities. What's the harm in a little trespassing to get a good photograph? |

Beautiful shot Ian. Great focus and detail throughout the entire picture. I do always value Gordon's and Trey's recommendations and opinions but, I like your crop better than the 4 x 6. The smaller crop takes away from the majestic view of the original. Great photograph. |
