Thanks for the comments. I focused on the closest object first and used small focus increments until I reached the waterfall. It turned out to be nine images. I had no idea what I was doing since this was my first attempt at stacking photos. I don't remember why I choose f3.5, but even with that aperture I still was down to 1/20 of a second.

I also like the way you brought out the left eye because it is not visible in the original. I also get the feeling there was a strong breeze blowing at the time of the photo, blowing all the hair to the side. Well done. Aug 21st
76 Aug 23 Comment Great image Trey. I like the sharp focus you achieved throughout the image with focus stacking. I find nothing distracting in the background. It looks like it was taken in the wild, and that is the background I would expect. The soft focus only strengthens the flowers. I do have one suggestion, I would have liked to see a little more of the stem in the front flower, maybe by backing up just a little. Aug 21st
