Thanks for your comments. I did want to leave as many of the tree shadows as possible, and the more I cropped, the more I lost. |

Thanks Ian. The more I cropped from the ground, the more the tree shadows were also cropped out of the picture. I really liked that part of the photograph, so I left in the ground. |

Hi Gordon,
Welcome to the group! This is a stunning image. The position of the pony, the sharp focus, and the details in the coat and hair are outstanding. The background you created shows a great artistic touch, really adding to the beauty of the photograph.

Hi Sanford.
Great capture. It is so hard to be at the right place and at the right time with wildlife. You did both. You really got a excellent action shot. Focus and color are great. I also like the way tree branches balance out the picture.

Hi Trey,
I fine display of shapes and lines, leading to the center display of the needles. An interesting subject matter which benefited from your conversion to monochrome, giving it an artistic flare.

Hi Ian,
I was not really familiar with infra-red photography. After seeing you photo, I did a little reading to learn what it was about. It is interesting to be able to capture what the human eye can't see. I like the subject choice for your photo. Mysterious and dark, the IR emphasizes the grave stones and cemetery. Well done.
